Sungei Piah Mineral Resources is the mining arm of the group. Previously known as Sungei Piah Engineering Works and then subsequently known as Sungei Piah Quarry Development, the roots essentially dates back to the start of our first mining contract with Associated Pan Malaysia Cement (APMC) in 1991.

The company's growth became very focus from what was initially a development project for opening a new quarry phase for APMC soon evolved to a full scale quarry project. The company's proficiency in mining techniques further improve the company's reputation and subsequently secured other mining projects including Tasek Cement Berhad and YTL Cement Berhad.
